California State University – Fullerton Hotels
The twelfth state college in California to be authorized by the legislature, California State University—Fullerton was established in 1957, and the first commencement was held in June 1960. Since then, the campus and academic offerings have grown rapidly and enrollment has reached more than 35,000. The curriculum has also been expanded, now offering lower-division work, several graduate programs and numerous certificate programs.Cal State Fullerton, as it is called by students, stretches over 236 acres, bounded by State College Boulevard and the Orange Freeway. Much of the area surrounding the campus is suburban, offering a variety of apartment complexes, excellent shopping and delicious restaurants. The campus itself as an urban layout, consisting of 22 permanent buildings and building clusters, and was designed to cater to the needs of students. The university's modern buildings are ideally placed so no student must walk more than 10 minutes from one building to the next.
Known for its outstanding academics and research, California State University—Fullerton was ranked no. 10 among the nations “Top Public Universities” by U.S. News and World Report. It has also received recognition including “Colleges that Encourage Character Development” by The Templeton Guide, and “Best 290 Business Schools” by The Princeton Review.
